earthmother.org is a resource for moms advocating all things natural.
Though I have many interests, I am currently focused on promoting natural childbirth and the preservation of a woman’s experience of pregnancy, birth and motherhood as a precious and sacred place. While acknowledging that every woman’s vision of her pregnancy, her child’s birth, and her role as mother is unique, I hope to present a stance that embraces a fundamental respect and joy for the women as individuals and as part of our community of women at large.
Through this site, my hope is to empower women to make informed choices and to promote life the way nature intended: unprocessed and, sometimes, raw. But, never unrefined.
In general, there will be plenty of articles presenting natural lifestyle choices…while simultaneously acknowledging that some days motherhood is not possible without a second cup of coffee green tea.
