yes to all of the above! good job. I would hesitate to call them “no-brainers” only because it they truly were, then everyone would know about them!
my own feedback into the five:
1. I don’t have anything to add here. Just do them.
2. I did not do this with the Bun’s birth, but I was extremely lucky not to tear anyway. Again, I would basically second everything Juliet says here.
3. Chiropractic: I had terrible sciatic pain with my first and third pregnancies. It was so bad this last time around, I literally almost fell down at times. My chiropractor, who specializes in pregnancy and pediatric, just like Juliet’s, saved me.
4. Unfortunately because of issues I have making healthy placentas (we think), I cannot follow this advice. I was put on modified bed rest for my last two pregnancies. I never felt like such a slug!
5. Along with the modified bed rest, I had to hydrate like crazy to keep my amniotic fluid up. It worked, and it had all the secondary benefits listed here. Don’t forget to keep hydrating after the birth! You need it to make breastmilk, and I know I it need to, ahem, keep everything regular.
